Facebook will be restoring press content to its platforms in Australia in the coming days. This announcement follows an agreement with the government requiring newspaper publishers to go through longer negotiations before the intervention of an independent arbitrator. Despite this change, the future Australian law still remains more favorable to publishers than the neighboring right set up by the EU Copyright Directive.
