AI as a transformation lever for the music sector
Published on the occasion of France Music Week, a study by CNM and BearingPoint analyzes the rise of artificial intelligence in the music industry, while highlighting its limits, legal issues and economic impacts on the sector.
During the France Music Week day devoted to innovation and technology, the Centre national de la musique (CNM) presented a study conducted by the BearingPoint consultancy, aimed at mapping the uses of artificial intelligence in the music industry. Conducted between March and May 2025, the survey is based on an in-depth documentary analysis and some 30 interviews with professionals from the recorded music and live performance industries.
