AI: the European Federation of Journalists sets its priorities
In a « position paper » published yesterday, the European Federation of Journalists opens the door to the controlled and considered use of AI in journalism, but draws red lines: journalists’ autonomy, transparency and protection of the value of editorial work remain essential conditions. The EFJ also called for public support for the deployment of AI in small media, so that the tool is not reserved for large publishers.
