Anthropic: French and European Authors, Only a Few Days Left to File a Claim

Many European authors could be compensated for the use of their books in training Anthropic’s Claude AI, but they must act quickly: the deadline for filing a claim under this U.S. settlement is March 30, 2026.
This is a deadline that might go unnoticed, but its financial implications are far from negligible. As part of the settlement Bartz v. Anthropic settlement, authors—including Europeans—whose pirated works were used to train the Claude AI may file a claim for compensation until March 30, 2026….
