AVMS Directive: Emmanuel Maurel Secures Broad Parliamentary Support for the Cultural Exception
Last night, the National Assembly’s European Affairs Committee adopted the two draft resolutions proposed by Emmanuel Maurel on the revision of the “Audiovisual Media Services” (AVMS) Directive and on the definition of a European work. This sends a strong political signal to Brussels just a few months before work begins on revising the main European text governing the audiovisual sector.
