Last June, the Banque Publique d’Investissement announced that it had taken part in Mistral AI’s first round of funding, and now tells us that it has gone back into the pot for the second round. The amount of this double investment remains confidential, which is all the more worrying given that former French Secretary of State for Digital Affairs Cédric O helped finance the start-up and, according to Bloomberg, is one of its shareholders.
