Numeum notes the uncertainties born of the dissolution and subsequent lack of a majority. While digital players have retained most of their allies in the National Assembly, they also want to seek new support, and are asking the Elysée, and the future Prime Minister, to appoint a minister in charge of digital, as there are still many files to manage. With its 2,500 members accounting for 85% of the sector’s sales, Numeum is a heavyweight in the French digital sector. As digital regulation today comes primarily from the EU, the organization also has a presence in Brussels.
