In a response to major press publishers in France, Open AI says it has no need to negotiate with the French press, and assures that it respects publishers’ intellectual property rights. The publishers are currently wondering about a possible lawsuit. Open AI has signed agreements with the New York Times, Le Monde, Axel Springer and, most recently, Condé Nast.
