Google is the subject of a double lawsuit by Joe Biden’s administration, which could lead to its dismantling. Ironically, it seems that Donald Trump’s teams are more enthusiastic about bringing these lawsuits to a successful conclusion than the Kamala Harris administration would have been. In a few days’ time, Joe Biden’s administration will publish its recommendations regarding the follow-up to last August’s ruling, in which the US District Court in Washington concluded that Google had violated the law in order to maintain its status as a monopolistic search engine. Among the charges was the fact that it had entered into preferential contracts with phone manufacturers and web browser developers to promote Google Search.
