Data transfers to the United States: European court upholds Data Privacy Framework
Contrary to its rulings in the Schrems I and II cases, the European judge, seized by French MP Philippe Latombe, has upheld the European Commission’s latest adequacy decision on the transfer of data from the EU to the US. The Court considers that the safeguards provided by the new system in force in the USA are sufficient to protect the data of Europeans.
