AI, the dope of big tech
Tech giants such as Meta, Apple and Amazon are seeing their market capitalization explode thanks to the growing integration of artificial intelligence, although they are encountering varying fortunes in the face of this technological turn.
Whether it’s Meta, Apple, Google, Nvidia, Microsoft or Amazon, the latest quarterly figures of the tech behemoths are permeated by artificial intelligence. All markets are betting that these companies will find strong growth drivers in the integration of AI. Nvidia has just broken through the $5 trillion ceiling, even though the company still can’t sell its chips in China. Amazon published very good figures, but it was the subsequent announcement of a reduction in headcount, due to the productivity gains enabled by AI, that propelled the stock to record highs…
