Earmarking of recovery funds in favor of creation: the parliamentary battle continues
One day after the vote on the Resolution on the cultural recovery of Europe by the European Parliament, a group of MEPs is fighting to make the earmarking of at least 2 percent of the Recovery and Resilience Facility for the support of the creative sector compulsory.
The European Parliament voted yesterday its Resolution on cultural recovery, in which it calls for a doubling of funds devoted to creation in the long-term budget of the EU, and also for an earmarking of at least 2% of recovery funds in favor of the creative sector.
