Age Verification: The CJEU Reminds France of the Limits of the E-Commerce Directive

Following a referral by the Council of State, the Court of Justice of the European Union clarified the conditions under which a Member State may impose its own rules on platforms established in other Member States, particularly with regard to age verification.
