Film sets: EU concerned about competition between countries on tax incentives
The European Parliament reminds the Commission of the urgent need to carry out an in-depth analysis of national tax incentive schemes in the audiovisual sector, and their consequences. A number of member states have embarked on a spiral of « best bidding », with increasingly attractive tax credits and other measures, so much so that the Parliament wonders whether there is not a need for regulation.
