Unifrance: anatomy of a small fall
After a rebound in 2023, French cinema exports returned in 2024 to a lower level than before the health crisis. On the audiovisual side, in terms of releases, France is in third place on television, and in fifth positon on platforms.
Unifrance today presented the 2024 export figures for French works, initiating its major annual market, the Rendez-Vous d’Unifrance in Paris, which starts tomorrow. The results, as we shall see, are not entirely encouraging.
