DSA: Henna Virkkunen will not adopt decisions lightly
Henna Virkkunen’s first official speech since taking office focused on the application of the Digital Services Act. She tempered the call from national governments for swift action, pointing out that the Commission’s decisions in this area had to be solid if they were not to be overturned by judges. She also confirmed that she would double the number of staff in the Commission departments responsible for the text.
