AI Summit – Jane Ginsburg: « developers can’t argue that they can use works for free if they pay for certain content »

The « Creation » roundtable at the AI Summit provided an update on the situation regarding copyright compliance by AI developers.

This morning saw the panel discussion « Creating a virtuous circle between AI, information and creation » at the Paris Summit for Action on AI. The participation of Professor Jane Ginsburg, Estonian President Alan Karis and French-Moroccan film director Nabil Ayouch were the only ones confirmed late last week. Then came Andrejs Vasiļjevs, Co-Founder of Tilde, the neural machine translation specialist, and, last night, Pierre Louette, CEO of Les Echos – Le Parisien, and President of the Alliance de la Presse d’Information Générale.
