Cultural compass: the Commission’s empty rhetoric
The European Parliament plenary was holding a session yesterday where the Commission was due to present its future « cultural compass », which should take shape by the end of the year. Commissioner Glenn Micallef’s speech failed to discern the contours of the project, and many questions remain unanswered, such as the fact that the audiovisual sector was not consulted.
