“Disinformation,” “hate,” “systemic risks”: Arcom continues its digital transformation under the influence of the DSA
Driven by the DSA and new European digital regulation laws, Arcom is continuing its transformation from an audiovisual frequency regulator into a supervisor of online platforms, discourse, and “systemic risks.” This is a major institutional shift, even as the political consensus that brought it about begins to waver. In its 2026-2028 strategic plan, Arcom continues its transformation into a regulator of digital platforms and online information flows.
