Fiascos of adapting French law to EU law: a circular from Gabriel Attal to solve the problems
After the fiascos of the « influencers » and « online hate » laws, and then that of the PJL Sécurité numérique, French texts that were all the subject of infringement proceedings by the European Commission, a Prime Minister’s circular published a few days ago reframes all ministers on the issue of adapting French law to European law. Unfortunately, this circular comes a little late to address the Ministry of Culture’s lack of anticipation with regard to the Media Freedom Act..
