The European Commission is stepping up its efforts to protect minors online. Two announcements made today under the Digital Services Act (DSA) illustrate both a crackdown on investigations and the growing prominence of a tool that is still experimental: the European “mini-wallet” for age verification, which Brussels is promoting without (yet) intending to mandate it.
