Creative sector concerned by absence of cultural issues from European election campaign
Even though the subjects of copyright, platform liability and AI regulation are being addressed more at European than national level, culture is the big absentee in this European election campaign.
The creative sector is starting to get impatient: almost none of the French candidates in the forthcoming European elections have spoken out on cultural issues. Most of the platforms of the various political parties either ignore this historically fundamental issue for France, or only mention it as a platitude.
