AI: France abandons creators
Meeting yesterday at the Palais d’Iéna under the aegis of the Société des Gens de Lettre, the creative sector called on the French government to support them on the issue of generative AI. Emmanuel Macron doesn’t seem inclined to heed their call: his government is even said to be forming a blocking minority to prevent the vote on the European AI regulation, which provides guarantees for copyright holders. The French government’s support for the creative sector is a matter of great concern.
