UK publishes code of practice for music streaming
The UK Intellectual Property Office yesterday published a Code of Best Practice on transparency in the music streaming sector. The code, already signed by the organization representing Spotify, Deezer and Amazon Music in the UK, requires platforms to provide clear data on the use of works, and also places obligations on producers and publishers vis-a-vis their artists.
