The authors of the documentary call for an urgent vote on the Senate’s proposal to finance public broadcasting
The documentary authors are appealing to parliamentarians for help, asking them to vote, as quickly as possible, for a renewal of public broadcasting funding through VAT, to avoid an endowment from the general budget, deemed unstable. For the longer term, they support the return of an earmarked tax, but one which, unlike the old licence fee, would be based on household means.
