Apple’s ‘iOS in the car’ said to be launching next week with cars from Ferrari, others – The Verge

It's been more than eight months since Apple first previewed iOS in the car, a system designed to put Apple's Siri, Maps, and other services in automobile dashboards. And now that vision could be closer to a reality. According to the Financial Times, Apple and a handful of automakers plan to show off the first wave of cars with the feature at the Geneva Motor Show. Citing sources, The Times says Ferrari, Mercedez-Benz, and Volvo will all show off models that incorporate it. Those companies declined to comment on the report, though were named last year in a group of early adopters that also included Honda, Nissan, Chevrolet, Kia, Hyundai, and Jaguar...
