Public Broadcasting: A Highly Controversial Report

The publication of the Alloncle report—551 pages and over 70 recommendations aimed notably at achieving one billion euros in savings, merging or closing channels, and having CEOs appointed by the president—has sparked a fierce political and cultural controversy, with the SACD and Scam viewing it as a privatization maneuver comparable to Donald Trump’s methods.
