Universal Music Group and The Disney Music Group - which includes Hollywood Records, Walt Disney Records and Disney Music Publishing - have expanded their ongoing global deal.
The new extension, announced today, constitutes a 'long-term global commercial and creative agreement'.
Covering both physical and digital rights in the majority of the world, the agreement will enable UMG and Disney to offer DMG’s repertoire, which includes all of the company’s labels’ frontline releases from a stable of multi-platinum pop, rock and country albums.
For the first time, DMG’s labels and artists will also now have access to Universal’s roster of producers and songwriters on a worldwide basis.The Disney roster has continued to expand with artists as Demi Lovato, Plain White T’s, Selena Gomez, ZZ Ward, Queen, Bridgit Mendler, Grace Potter & The Nocturnals and more.
